Lahore (Special Correspondent): Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif lauded the professionalism and bravery of the armed forces, who defended the motherland like an iron wall against Indian aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe offer our deepest gratitude to Almighty Allah for granting us success,” Sharif said during a meeting with PML-N Parliamentary Leader in the Senate and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Irfan Siddiqui who called on him in Raiwind.
Sharif also lauded the role of parliament saying that setting aside all political differences and speaking with one voice for the sake of national security is a welcome and commendable step.
\u201cBy reflecting the emotions of 240 million citizens, the people’s representatives boosted the spirit of the brave armed forces,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also commended Pakistani media for presenting the truth before the world and exposing the enemy\u2019s falsehoods.
Senator Siddiqui briefed the PML-N president on the parliamentary party\u2019s performance during the session. Sharif underscored the importance of institutional collaboration, stating that Parliament\u2019s unified stance had reinforced national resolve and showcased Pakistan\u2019s democratic maturity in times of crisis.
