Washington D.C.(Special Correspondent): A business networking dinner was hosted in Washington D.C. to foster trade relations between Pakistan and the United States. The event, organized by 4thpillar media and PR organization, honored a delegation from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

The 18-member FPCCI delegation is currently in the U.S. to enhance trade and investment with the American business community.

Attendees at the dinner included Malik Sohail Hussain, Chairman Coordination, Karim Aziz Malik, Chairman Capital President Secretariat Islamabad, Tariq Khan Jadoon, Vice President FPCCI, Samina Fazal, Liaquat Ali Shah, Chaudhary Naseer, and Rashid Humayun. Pakistan’s Consul General, Amar Auto Zai, and Trade Minister Adnan Mahmood were also present.

Malik Sohail Hussain paid tribute to the Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, for defending the nation and congratulated him on his promotion to Field Marshal. He also commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts to steer the economy in the right direction. Sohail Malik emphasized that the delegation’s visit to the U.S. aims to strengthen the business community, highlighting the crucial role of the diaspora in Pakistan’s economy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He expressed a desire to support the promotion of trade between Pakistan and the USA, stating that Pakistanis residing in America are a source of national pride, with doctors and engineers playing a vital role. He added that under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, measures are being taken to attract investment in Pakistan, and various sectors offer investment opportunities.

Consul General Pakistan, Amar Auto Zai, addressed the gathering, assuring that the doors of the consular mission are open for the Pakistani business community and Pakistanis residing in the USA for all kinds of assistance.

Farooq Mirza, President of 4thpillar, addressed the event, stating that the Pakistani American Community is vibrant and always stands with Pakistan in building its positive image. He added that efforts are being made to bring Pakistani and American people closer through trade.
