Islamabad (Syed Javed Hassan Shah): The 1st Meinhardt Grade A+ National Ranking Tennis Championships concluded successfully at the PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad, with Pakistan\u2019s top players delivering outstanding performances in the finals.
In the Men\u2019s Singles Final, Muhammad Shoaib staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Muzammil Murtaza 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 and claim the championship title.
In the Ladies\u2019 Singles Final, Mahin Aftab Qureshi displayed complete dominance, defeating Romasia Malik 6-0, 6-0 to secure the ladies\u2019 title.
In the Boys\u2019 Under-18 Singles Final, M. Hassan Usmani overcame Haziq Aasim in a closely contested match, winning 7-6(2), 6-3 to lift the junior championship trophy.
The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Gandapur, Country Director, Meinhardt Pakistan, as the Chief Guest, while Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President, Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), attended as the Guest of Honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Farhan Azad, Director Meinhardt Pakistan; Mr. Imran Younus, Director Meinhardt Pakistan; Brig. Saleem Marwat, Senior Executive Vice President PTF; Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail (Retd.), Secretary General PTF; and Mr. Farman Khan, Director, Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), Col. Gul Rehman Director-PTF along with a large number of players, coaches, media representatives, and tennis enthusiasts.
Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Gandapur, and Col. Zia-ud-Din Tufail (Retd.) congratulated all the winners and runners-up for their outstanding performances throughout the championship. The PTF leadership also expressed its sincere gratitude to Mr. Muhammad Yousaf Gandapur and Meinhardt Pakistan for sponsoring the event and supporting the development and promotion of tennis in Pakistan.
