Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, known for her stellar acting and massive social media following, recently made headlines for a brief yet heartfelt interaction with young cricketer Saim Ayub in London. The two met at an international fundraiser event for Sahara Trust, where Hania posed for a photo with Saim and extended her best wishes and prayers to him after learning about his recent injury.
Hania’s notable acting career includes hit dramas, and she continues to make waves in entertainment and charity work. On the other hand, Pakistan’s top-order batter, Saim Ayub, was ruled out of action for at least another month due to a right ankle fracture.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had provided an update on his condition, stating that Ayub was recovering well and would continue his rehabilitation in England. After undergoing MRI scans, X-rays, and medical assessments, the PCB confirmed that Ayub had been sidelined for 10 weeks from the date of his injury on January 3.
His availability for Pakistan’s upcoming tour of New Zealand, scheduled from March 16 to April 5, depended on his fitness and successful clearance of all medical tests. Ayub’s injury had also led to his exclusion from the Champions Trophy 2025 squad.
