Islamabad (Syed Javed Hassan Shah): The head of Awam Pakistan Party and former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, visited the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During a meeting with the President of Quetta Chamber, Ayub Miryani, Senior Vice President Haji Akhtar Kakar, Vice President Engineer Mir Wais Khan Kakar, and executive and senior members, he stated that Balochistan is a province rich in natural resources and that water and electricity issues here should be resolved.
The business community is the backbone of any country’s economy. The solution to the country’s problems lies in the rule of law, and injustice hollows out the roots of the country. He also spoke about the resources and rights of Balochistan and said that Balochistan should receive its constitutional rights. It is not possible for there to be unrest in Balochistan and for the country to remain safe from it. It is our responsibility to solve the issues.
On this occasion, the President of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Muhammad Ayub Khan Miryani, highlighted the important issues faced by the traders, stating that matters such as high tariffs, closure of land trade routes, restrictions on trade with Iran, confiscation of legal goods in Punjab, and interference by law enforcement agencies have severely worried the business community.
We hope that a prudent politician like you will highlight these issues at the federal level so that the business community of Balochistan can also have equal economic opportunities. In the end, President Ayub Miryani presented a commemorative shield to the esteemed guest on behalf of the Chamber.
