American Political Counselor Zack Harkenrider and Minister of State for Interior Tallal Chaudhry were also present on the occasion. The meeting focused on the situation arising after the Indian aggression.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi apprised the Acting U.S. Ambassador on the developments following the Indian attack, stating that India has jeopardized peace in South Asia and torn apart regional stability. He emphasized that India violated international laws by deliberately targeting civilians. Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan responded effectively to defend its homeland and showed utmost restraint — but would never compromise on its national security. He further stressed that Pakistan had already alerted friendly nations about India’s dangerous intentions.
