Islamabad (Zahid Yaqoob Khawaja): U.S Acting Ambassador Natalie Baker called on Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for the second time within 48 hours. Both sides discussed the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and India as well as the border situation.
Interior Minister appraised Natalie Baker on the current escalation and the situation that has emerged as a result. He also provided her with details on India’s drone terrorism, stating that India has blatantly violated all international laws by trying to target civilian areas using drones. He highlighted that Pakistan has responded effectively, shooting down dozens of drones. He asserted that India bears full responsibility for the dangerous situation in the region, which now stands at the verge of war.
Interior Minister emphasized that Pakistan’s security and sovereignty will never be compromised. U.S Political Counselor Zack Harkinrider was also present at the occasion.
