Islamabad (Ghulam Murtaza): On 24 August, Professor ENDO Ken, Chair and Professor of International Politics at the Faculty of Law, the University of Tokyo, delivered a lecture entitled “Japan’s FOIP 3.0 and the Future of Middle-Power Diplomacy in the Indo-Pacific” at the SPIR Seminar Hall of Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU).
The event was attended by Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Vice-Chancellor of QAU, and Dr. Muhammad Nadeem Mirza, Director of the School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR), who delivered welcoming remarks at the outset of the event. H.E. Mr. AKAMATSU Shuichi, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, also attended the event and delivered the opening address.
Faculty members and students of QAU listened attentively to Professor Endo’s lecture, which provided valuable insights into Japan’s foreign policy and its approach to the Indo-Pacific region. The lecture was followed by a lively question-and-answer session, during which participants engaged in an active exchange of views with Professor Endo.
