Rawalpindi (Syed Javed Hassan Shah): Pakistan’s Abdul Samad has been ruled out of the T20I Tri-series.
On Monday evening, during a fielding session at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, a ball struck Samad’s left hand, resulting in a split-wound injury to the little finger. He underwent a medical procedure at the hospital and is expected to require approximately four weeks for full recovery before returning to play.
As his replacement, Hassan Nawaz has been added to the squad for the Tri-series. Hassan will join the squad on 19 November.
