Islamabad (Umar Hayat Khan): Official Coordinator of the Islamabad Estate Agents Association and Chairman of the Youth Committee of ICCI, Usman Busra, has welcomed the federal government’s decision to reduce withholding taxes on the real estate sector in the budget. He said that this measure would not only boost property buying and selling activities but would also provide significant benefits to the construction industry.
He stated that reducing the tax burden on property transactions would encourage greater investment, leading to the launch of new housing and commercial projects. As a result, demand for cement, steel bars, tiles, electrical equipment, paints, and other construction-related products and industries would increase, thereby strengthening overall economic activity.
Usman Busra expressed optimism that the reforms introduced in the budget would improve the investment climate in the real estate sector and pave the way for a new era of construction and development activities across the country.
