SHIKARPUR (Special Correspondent): Pakistan’s tallest man, Naseer Soomro, has
passed away at the age of 55 after battling lung disease and joint pain
for several years. According to his relatives, he breathed his last in his hometown of
Shikarpur.
Soomro, who stood 7 feet 9 inches tall, was considered one of the
tallest people in the world, as he was at least three feet taller than
ordinary people. His extraordinary height brought him national and
international recognition, making Pakistan famous on a global stage.
Soomro was an employee of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and was
appointed due to his remarkable stature. However, in recent years, he

struggling with health issues and financial difficulties.
According to his family, Soomro was hospitalized multiple times due to
chronic lung disease but continued to fight against his deteriorating
