Lahore (Syed Javed Hassan Shah): Muhammad Yasir Pirzada, Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), visited the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Headquarters, Football House in Lahore today. He was warmly received by Head of Legal PFF Ali Akram and Director HR Aziz Malik.
During the visit, Yasir Pirzada appreciated the PFF for successfully conducting its historic elections and reiterated his commitment to supporting the federation in its ongoing efforts under the leadership of PFF President Mohsen Gilani to revive and develop football in the country.
A key point of the discussion was the proposed renovation and upgradation of Punjab Stadium, Lahore, to align it with international standards similar to the improvements made at the Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad.
The meeting also addressed the broader football development initiatives across Pakistan, with the DG PSB assuring the PSB’s full cooperation in supporting the PFF’s roadmap to strengthen grassroots infrastructure, youth and women development and professional league systems.
